Producer Notes: Stone fruits and white blossoms lift from the glass in this peachy treat. Soft and silky on the palate with the faintest hint of sweetness. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir make up the majority of this blend, with the remainder comprising of the official grape of Prosecco, Glera. This sparkling is an absolute joy to drink. Makes for a great aperitif or simply a refreshing sipper.

Winemaker Notes: VINEYARDS: The vineyard sourcing comes exclusively from a special, sustainable vineyard in Potter Valley, Mendocino County where the vines crop only 4-5 tons per acre. This results in a wine that is varietally expressive, with or without food. This vibrant, flint colored Chardonnay illustrates its unoaked composition in appearance as well as profile. The aromas of the wine display ripe citrus and tropical notes such as guava and passion fruit. There is subtle clove spice underneath which is expressed as varietal with a key lime scent. The palate is a mouthful of fruit from apricot to Fuji apple, to dried pineapple & ripe casaba melon. The finish furnishes a lovely, silky honey texture adding to the ripe apple, which together coats the palate elegantly. VINE AGE: Average 15 year-old vines YIELDS/ACRE: 5 tons per acre WINEMAKING DETAILS: The wine was vinified separately in stainless steel fermenters and finished with no Malo Lactic. The grapes were picked at 23 Brix, as we like a balanced Chardonnay with the focus on fruit and natural acidity. This wine did not see any oak during its fermentation or maturation.

90% Negroamaro, 10% Malvasia Nera Winemaker Notes: Salice Salentino is a small town in Apulia, the heel of Italy and the name of this DOC wine. The wines are not trained and are severely pruned, thereby reducing yields and forcing all the vitality of the plant onto a small amount of fruit. The wines made from these grapes are generous, fruity, and full of extract. Subject to only minimal filtration before bottling in order to preserve all the characteristics of the product, which, unusual for this area, are aged in small oak barriques for about six months. Serve Salice Salentino at room temperature with traditional Italian dishes, steaks, and roasts.

Orion
The name Orion comes from the Greek and refers to the fortified road nearby the vineyards of Masseria Li Veli (called Limite dei Greci) which in past times used to be considered the border between the Longobards domains to the North and the Byzantium reign to the South-East. Orion is a Primitivo in purezza, fresh, pleasant, full and soft with a remarkable persistence.
TASTING NOTES
Dense ruby red with a purplish rim, it is immediately intense on the nose with marked aromas of ripe and fleshy red fruits, notably cherries followed by spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg; in the mouth it is full, powerful, smooth and very long, with a well defined acid streak which makes it fresh and pleasing.

Lean and dry, this delicate white leads with scents of lemon and lees, a hint of clove spice lending complexity. But the wine’s raciness is the lasting impression, the tart Meyer lemon flavors holding a tension that lasts. Chill for red curry.

Producer Notes: The remarkable ubiquity of Pinot Grigio in northern Italy, especially in plains with prevalent slate soils, shows its excellent adaptation to the climate. The grapes for “Le Colline di San Giorgio” come from volcanic soils. The vineyards are on hillsides with southeast, south and southwest exposure. The winemaking techniques used by the coop strive to preserve the variety’s unique aromas. Aged in stainless steel tanks, with two months on the lees. Lemongrass and citrus notes, mineral and well-balanced. 12% alcohol.

Winemaker Notes: This is wine sourced from the mountain vineyards with volcanic soils at 2,400 ft. elevation in southern Greece. The ancient variety Aghiorghitiko (St. George), produces wines of rich character, ripe fruit, plum and cherry, velvety tannins with a balanced, long finish.
Tasting Notes: The color is bright, deep morello cherry-red. The nose reveals aromas of blackberries, raspberries and ripe strawberries with just a touch of aniseed and spices such as clove and cinnamon. Obsidian Ridge Vineyard is planted at 2,640 feet atop the Mayacamas range north of the Napa Valley. This is one of the newest American Viticultural Areas, named Red Hills Lake County for the distinctive volcanic soils that define this remarkable mountain appellation. Winery note: "True Cabernet Sauvignon character stands out, opening in an aromatic riot of blackberry jam, a touch of herb, spice, and coffee. The wine is full-bodied, expanding mid-palate with a dense core of black fruit, black cherries, and cacao beans; the finish lingers with a perfume of dried raspberries and rose water. The distinctive tannic structure of mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot hints at the aging potential of this wine."

A deep, dark color and generous black-fruit aromas lead to well extracted flavors of blackberry, blueberry and black currant on the palate, while a thick blanket of fine grained tannins wraps it all in. It is huge in structure but matched by luxurious, layered fruit and spice flavors. *Cellar Selection* (JG)

"The 2012 Brut Ivoire et Ebène is another fabulous wine in this range. Powerful, ample and resonant in the glass, the 2012 is superb from the moment it is first poured. Baked apple, pear, smoke and spice fill out the wine's voluptuous frame, with a hint of French oak that add complexity without being overpowering. The combination of bright flavors and rich textures is compelling. Disgorged: June 2016. Dosage is 3 grams per liter." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

Produced from nearly 100% estate, biodynamically grown Parellada, Macabeo and Xarel-lo, this is one of the classiest, best-made Spanish sparkling wines on the market. From their variety of calcareous clay soils, to the careful harvesting and proximity of their gravity-flow winery, both the quality of raw material and oenological know-how are abundant at this terrific estate. There is a very tiny dosage, less than 6g/l, and the overall impression here is of a very mineral, clearly delineated, chiseled sparkling wine that is truly first-rate. When you taste this wine, you will see why some of Spain's best restaurants continue to feature this terrific sparkler.

A light pink color and smoky, lightly woody aromas introduce this racy rosé sparkler that includes a dash of Monastrell for color. Nectarine, red apple skin and citrus flavors are fresh and briny, while this is steady and doesn't break down on the finish; ideal for fried chicken (trust us). (MS)

Certified Organic, "Carnuntum is red-wine country, so what is going on here? Let's just call it our little secret. The dense soils give way to crystaline whites. I find Glatzer’s wine compelling because as much as he is a “serious” winemaker, he hasn’t forgotten that wine is meant to be delicious! Too many winemakers have swung the pendulum towards austere and unforgiving wines that require a thesauraus and a translator to understand. Not Walter Glatzer. And in 2017, boy has he delivered on the “delicious” quotient. Hints of jasmine on the nose lead into a creamy style of GV, almost Chablis-like, with focused citrus flavors and a classic white pepper finish." --write-up by Chapel Hill Wine Company

WINEMAKERS COMMENTS: We use several different clones, and being believers in minimal manipulation regarding the environment, have eliminated fertilizers and soil amendments. We do not add any acid in the cellar. Deep garnet in color, the nose of this wine is beautifully perfumed, suggesting violets, star anise, raspberry coulis, and earthy mineral notes. The palate exhibits juicy black cherry and berry flavors. The finish is long and elegant, offering hints of exotic spice. Wadenswill is a clone which lends flavors of mouthwatering sour cherry and crushed strawberries, while Pommard 4 provides earthiness. The wine has soft tannins from the cool climate selection and finishes with balanced acidity, light bodied tannins and a soft, silky finish. We blend grapes from several appellations. Complexity is achieved with blending AVA’s, not varietals.
